I started out my passion for Hair & Makeup in 2007 when I moved to Southampton to start my degree in Hair and Makeup styling for music, film and photography. During the 3 years I learnt a whole range of skills from working with theatrical, prosthetics including makeup for fashion, editorial and film. Over the years I have taken training courses that specialise in wedding hair styling. I am also trained at level 2 in NVQ hairdressing, Beauty therapy and individual eyelash extensions. I have had experience working selling makeup for brands such a Benefit cosmetics and I have previously worked in a photography studio makeover experience for a number of years. I have been a freelance wedding hair and makeup for around 6 years, which I find very rewarding. I love being part of my client’s special day and making them feel glammed up for their big day. Everyone is so happy and relaxed that it’s a wonderful atmosphere to be part of.

 

I’m quite a girly girl, and I used to spend hours getting ready and going to the gym, now my most of my free time has been taken up my daughter and I absolutely love being a mum. I love my job and have a real passion for what I do, I can spend hours on Instagram looking through hair and makeup videos or anything related to weddings.

 

MY STYLE:

 

A lot of the looks I tend to like creating are soft glam and natural radiant glowing skin. Hair styles I love the Boho and textured updos with half up half down twists and curls, fishtail plaits and boho buns.

 

MY KIT:

It’s not just weddings but occasion, prom and photoshoot hair and makeup that I provide. I like to use the best products in my kit and just to name a few Charlotte Tilbury, Nars, Mac, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Too faced, Laura Mercia and many more. I also like to use good quality hair tools and products in my hair kit.
