Let’s talk about the wild ride that makeup trends have taken us on over the last couple of decades—and where we’re headed next (spoiler: it’s looking chic as hell!).
There was a time—not so long ago—when makeup was all about maximum impact. Brows were carved as sharp as a knife, contour could slice through steel, and everyone was baking their under-eyes! ...... What were we thinking!!!??? Dry, crusty under eyes....ewwww!

Instagram glam ruled the world, and more was definitely more.
But like all great fashion moments (hello, 90s low-rise jeans), trends evolve—and in makeup’s case, they’ve done almost a full 180. Or dare I say, a full circle?
The Peak Instagram Era: Carved, Contoured, and Camera-Ready
Taking it back to the 2010s. If your highlight wasn’t visible from space and your brows weren't on point........ were you even trying?
Everyone was on that Kim K. glam train:
Heavy contouring and baking.
Super matte full-coverage foundation.
Overlined lips with the good ol’ concealer middle.
Blocky brows with ombré fade (you know the ones).
At the time, it felt iconic. But it was also heavy, intense, and, let’s be honest—time-consuming.
The Shift: Soft Glam & Real Skin Renaissance
Fast forward a few years and you could feel the tides turning. Suddenly, everyone wanted to look more “natural” (with ten products, of course). Soft glam entered the scene—defined eyes and fluffy brows, but less drama, more glow.
It was like the industry collectively exhaled. Dewy finishes took the crown from matte. People wanted skin that looked like skin. Blush became a main character again, and highlighter softened from “spotlight on the cheekbone” to “lit-from-within luminosity.”
Where We Are Now: Light Editorial Refinement
So, what’s next? Where’s makeup heading in 2025 and beyond?

We’re stepping into what I like to call light editorial beauty—that perfectly balanced place between everyday elegance and artistic polish.
Glass skin: not just hydrated, but orchestrated glow. Skincare is half the look.
Lash work that speaks volumes: fluttery, wispy, precise—not chunky or glued within an inch of their life.
Soft blush: perfectly placed, feather-light, and melting into the skin for that youthful flush.
Brow refinement: less carved, more curated.
Subtle statement: clean lines, elevated tones, and small tweaks that make a massive difference.
It’s makeup that feels expensive, effortless, and oh-so intentional. Less “Instagram-ready” and more “editorial muse caught in golden hour lighting.”
The Circle is Complete (With Better Blending Skills)
Funny how it all comes back around, right? We’re leaning into simplicity again—but with more skill, more understanding of textures, tones, and bone structure. It’s not about piling on products—it’s about placement.
It’s not about being seen from across the street—it’s about being remembered up close.
As an artist, this new wave of makeup is so refreshing. It’s about enhancement, not transformation. It’s luxury in restraint. And I'm bloody here for it!!!!
Why This Matters For Your Wedding Day

Your wedding photos are going to be around forever. You want to look like yourself in them, not like a trend from a specific year. That’s why this new wave of makeup is such a dream—it’s timeless, flattering, and designed to last from “I do” to dance floor domination.
We’re here to make sure your makeup not only looks amazing in person, but photographs beautifully too. Nothing too heavy, nothing too trend-led—just classic, refined beauty that enhances what makes you special.
Isn't that the dream!??........
